Delores B. Smith

Passed away early Thursday morning, June 16, 2016, at Heartland of Plymouth at the age of 98.
Delores was born in Detroit on August 13, 1918, the daughter of Edward J. and Ludellia V. ( nee Vatter ) Kelly. She attended schools in Detroit graduating from Holy Rosary High School. For thirty two years she worked for Burroughs Corporation in Plymouth as an assembler. Among her many interests and hobbies were bowling, shopping, traveling, Hawaii being her favorite spot, going to the casino and playing Bunco, a dice game. She is survived by her children, Carol and Tom Carter, Mary and Ted Lindroth, Renee and Andrew Fucik and Randall and Donna Smith. Twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grand children and fifteen great great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her siblings Marion Kelly and Edward Kelly.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, June 18th from 1 pm until the time of the memorial service at 3 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth.
