Deborah Fine Johnson

Deborah Fine Johnson, age 67 of Plymouth, passed away on August 25, 2020.

Deborah was born on July 27, 1953 in Dyersburg, Tennessee to her parents, William and Nancy (née Owens) Fine. She is the beloved and devoted wife of George Johnson. They were married on January 23, 1971 and celebrated 49 years of marriage this year. She is the loving mother of four children – Georgina (Scott) Cutting, Jeremy (Alicia) Johnson, Jodie (Jake Ladebauche) Johnson and Geoffrey (Samantha) Johnson; proud grandmother of Jerrica Fitzgerald, Cooper Cutting and Nathan Johnson-Cutting. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her sisters and brothers, Beverly (Robert) Grenier, Richard (Kimberly) Fine, John (Reba) Fine, Doug (Stacey) Bancroff , P. J. (Amanda) Johnson, Molly Johnson and her brother-in-law, West Hill. Deborah is pre-deceased by her sister, Nancy Hill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Deborah is a very active member in ministry at Four Winds Church in Northville – especially as a Sunday School Teacher. She delighted in hearing the voices of the little children each Sunday as they read or recited Scripture passages and felt blessed and privileged to be able to teach these little ones each week about the love of Jesus.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home beginning at 7:00 P.M on Friday evening.

For those who cannot attend and wish to view the Funeral Service in a safe environment, the funeral will be live streamed.

Please be advised that in observance of the Governmental Order from the State of Michigan and the current COVID-19 situation, when in attendance at the visitation and funeral service, we kindly ask for the safety and well-being of the families we serve and for your health, that everyone practice social distancing and consideration for other guests in attendance.

The Funeral Service will be private for immediate family and by invitation only from the immediate family. Per the order of the Governor of Michigan, the Funeral Service must be kept to a maximum of ten (10) people in attendance. Please refrain from handshaking and embracing family members and one another. All those who attend the visitation or funeral service are also required by order of the Governor of Michigan to wear a face mask.
