Obituary for Carol Pastori

Carol Pastori, age 76 and formerly of Plymouth, passed away on October 10, 2020 in Livonia, Michigan. Carol was born on January 3, 1944 to her parents, the late Ralph and Carol Goodall. She is the beloved and devoted wife of 49 years to the late Joseph Pastori who passed away in
2016. Carol is also the loving mother of Amy (Steve) Pfeiffer and Molly (Jamie) Pastori-Bissell; proud grandmother of Elena Pfeiffer, Ryan Pfeiffer, Jake Bissell and Jayda Bissell. She will be greatly missed by her sister-in-law, Maxine Pastori.

Carol received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan at Dearborn and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wayne State University in Detroit. She was a Social Worker and Clinical Therapist employed at the Northville Psychiatric Hospital – specifically working with patients in the Dual Diagnosis Program relative to mental illness and substance abuse.

When Carol wasn’t working, she enjoyed the theater, going to plays, musicals, band performances and attending the symphony. She liked attending Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings games too. But above all things in her life, her family – especially her grandchildren - brought her the greatest joy.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home to be officiated by the Reverend Lynn Snider.

Those who wish to honor the memory of Carol Pastori are invited to consider a contribution to the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation of Michigan, 29777 Telegraph Road, #1651, Southfield, MI 48034.

For those who cannot attend and wish to view the Funeral Service in a safe environment, the funeral will be live streamed.
