Bonnie Jean Robertson Passed away at Huron Valley Sinai Hospital in Commerce Township on Tuesday August 4, 2015 at the age of 70. Bonnie was born in Detroit on March 16, 1945, the daughter of Russell and Alma (nee Malzahn) Kautz. She graduated from Redford high school, Detroit, and attended Wayne State University for two years. Bonnie worked as an administrative assistant in the Office of the General Counsel at Ford Motor Company before her marriage to James E. Robertson on July 16, 1966. She returned to Ford in 1985 once her children were older. Bonnie retired from Ford in 2007. She and her family have resided in Plymouth since 1977 and were members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Livonia. The couple enjoyed traveling, truly world travelers, visiting many countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. Bonnie also enjoyed shopping, gardening and taking care of her home, but her first love was always her family. Bonnie is survived by Jim her husband of 49 years and children Michael (Susan) Robertson, Dawne Robertson, and Kelly (Chris) Connolly. Also Surviving are her grandchildren Devon Fischer, Marin Robertson, Jack Robertson, Brady Mc Williams, Elena Robertson, Olivia Connolly and Ryan Connolly. Bonnie also leaves behind her siblings Russell (Carol) Kautz of Atlanta Georgia and Karen Sadrack of Canton. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday August 11, 2015 from 4 pm until the time of her memorial service at 7 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 south Main St. Plymouth. The family suggests that contributions in Bonnie’s name be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Michigan Chapter 1471 E. 12 mile Rd. Madison Heights, MI 48071
