Betty Repko

Betty Repko passed away January 4, 2015 at the age of 89. She was born April 7, 1925 in Arcadia, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Mary Gladish. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband Louis in 2009. She is the dearest mother of Gloria (Ron) Yaszek, Rita Repko and Carol (Wolfgang Beatham) Repko. Dear grandmother of Lisa (Doug Davis) Yaszek, Kristen (Bryan) Richey, Robert Repko Johnson, Eric Repko Beatham and Kyle Repko Beatham and great grandmother of Jack Richey and Case Yaszek Davis. She is the dear sister of Jenny Buckley, Bernice Angell and Robert (Carolee) Gladish. Betty is also survived by her dear sister-in-law Irene Gladish. She was preceded in death by her siblings Emily Sebuck, Rose Sebuck, David Gladish and Albert Gladish. While at High School in Pennsylvania Betty was a cheerleader. She worked prior to marrying Louis as a secretary for an automotive company. Betty was very devoted to her family and also spent her time and efforts as a wonderful homemaker. She was an exceptionally giving person and was very generous with her time. Her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her siblings were her priorities in life. Betty was a spiritual person and was very committed to the Catholic faith. She is deeply loved and will be missed by many. Funeral services will take place Thursday, January 8, 2015, 10am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 N. Territorial Rd., Plymouth. Friends may visit at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, Wednesday 3pm until 9pm and Thursday at church beginning at 9:30am. Rosary Wednesday 7pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Hedwig Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
