Betty Juliette Klepser

Betty J. Klepser passed away at Brighton Gardens of Northville on August 2, 2012 at the age of 88. Betty was born in Suffolk, Virginia on May 20, 1924 the daughter of Herman A. and Cora A. ( Gardner ) Jones. She resided in Virginia where she graduated from Suffolk High School and later received her Bachelors in Buisness Education from Longwood College in Farmville, Virginia. She taught high school in Suffolk and Martinsville, Virginia and for a time work for the Foreign Service in Washington, D.C. She married Roy Klepser in 1958 and he preceded her in death in 2002. She loved to read but her true joy in life was her family. She is survived by her daughter Judy Hibbard and step-children Carolyn Klepser and Mary ( Oscar ) Priem. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ben, Jack and Joe Hibbard and neices and nephews, Linda Culliton, Corinne Winburn, Hank and Warren Birdsong. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11 am at St. John's Episcopal Church, 574 South Sheldon Road, Plymouth. Reverend Dorian McGlannan will be officiating
