Barbara Sue Pray

December 5, 1929 — January 11, 2011

Passed away at Heartland University Nursing Home on January 11, 2011 after a long illness, age 81. Barbara was born in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Russell Norman and Dorothy Electa ( Romines ) Lewis on December 5, 1929. With her husband Robert, who passed away in 1962, the couple moved to the Plymouth area in 1959. Barbara worked for Plymouth Township in various capacities including secretary and as an assessor from 1966 until her retirement in 1996. She is survived by her sons Michael and Patrick Pray and a granddaughter Candice Kempisty. A brother David ( Deborah ) Lewis also survives.

Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday, January 14, 2011, from 9am until time of the Funeral Service at 12 noon. Father Thomas Belczak of St. Kenneth Catholic Church of Plymouth will be officating. She will be buried beside her husband at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint later in the day. Contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
