Kenneth J. Korinek Sr.

Kenneth Joseph Korinek Sr., of Canton, died March 2, 2018, at the age of 75. He was born in Cicero, Illinois, on April 1, 1942, to James and Henrietta Korinek. Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Carole (nee Walsh) Korinek; his five loving children, Michele (Gary), Dawn (Dave), Lisa (Mark), Laura (Gary), and Kenneth Jr.; his 13 precious grandchildren; 3 cherished great grandchildren; and his dear siblings, Karen and Kris. Ken is preceded in death by both of his parents, and his brother, Karl.

Ken was a family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, camping, and fishing. Ken also enjoyed crossword puzzles, and western movies and books.

Visitation will be Friday, March 9, from 4-6pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, MI 48170. His Funeral Service will begin immediately following visitation at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
