Dorothy Geneva Conn

Dorothy Geneva Conn passed away on February 26, 2017. She was born in Dalton, Georgia on November 15, 1934 to her parents, Walter and Fannie (nee Sutherland) Hester.

After Dorothy graduated from high school, her parents and siblings moved to Plymouth, Michigan. Later, she met her future husband Buford and they married in March 1953. They were married for 42 years. Dorothy was a beautician and eventually, the owner of a very successful business known as DD Hair Fashion that served the Plymouth community from 1961 to 1984.

Dorothy is the beloved wife of the late Buford Conn who passed away in 1995. She is the loving and devoted mother of Craig (Laurie) Conn and very proud grandmother of Kevin and Ryan Conn. Dorothy was an amazing grandmother. Dorothy also leaves behind her brothers, Harold (Marilyn) Hester and C. J. Hester. She is deeply loved and will also be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit on Wednesday, March 1st from 5pm to 9pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2nd at 1:00pm.

Dorothy will be laid to rest at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville, Michigan.
