Arvin Dale McGregor

Arvin Dale McGregor, age 87 of Plymouth passed away on June 22nd, 2017.

Arvin was born on July 26, 1929 in Detroit to his parents, William O. and Iona (nee Harrell) McGregor. He is the beloved husband of the late Irene H. (nee Prosolowicz) who passed away in 2006; devoted father of three children, Renee (Bruce) Nymeyer, Susan (Mark) Tyler and, Art (Lori) McGregor; proud grandfather of Christopher, Matthew, and Timarie Nymeyer, Lyndsay, Courtney, Brenden Tyler and, Amanda and Conner McGregor; dearest brother of Sally, Fred, and the late Furman and Mary Lou.

Arvin was employed as a computer engineer and loved programming, software and computers. Programming is about creating solutions to problems. Through his profession, Arvin gained the pleasure of writing computer code and deploying it into a system that ultimately was very useful to other people - especially if it improved their lives in some way.

Arvin is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Monday, June 26th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 27th at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angela Hospice. Envelopes provided at funeral home.
